The Web Accessibility London 2010 Unconference* (a11yLDN) is a one day event being organised on a voluntary basis.

The unconference will focus on areas of motor impairment, but will also consider issues of cognitive impairment and the wider disability population.

The format will include presentations, workshops and a demonstration fair where attendees can try out existing and new assistive technology.

The event is directed at end-users, web designers/developers, accessibility specialists and universities, charities and companies.

So come along and find out what’s happening in web accessibility.

*Unconference is a “facilitated, participant-driven conference centered on a theme or purpose. The term “unconference” has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference, such as high fees and sponsored presentations.” – Wikipedia: The free encyclopedia.
